Routines —

What are routines

Routines are things you do in a day.

Routines fall into one of work, life, health, or sleep. You could get as specific as you like or keep it at a high level. We recommend not having more than five or six routines within each category, so you don't get overwhelmed entering the data. But, if you know you can deal with it, you’re free to enter as many routines as you like - we have no limits there.

Also, for ad-hoc routines, there’s always the “other” routine within each category. This is for when you have no clue what you did at a certain time but know it falls under a specific category.

It’s important to always keep them closest to the category that you think matches the best.

Add a routine

You can always create new routines or rename and deactivate existing ones. You cannot delete a routine that is created as it affects how analytics for routines function.

How to add a routine?

  1. From the last tab, go to manage routines.
  2. Go to the category where the routine you want to add belongs to.
  3. Tap on add a <category> routine at the left top of the screen.
  4. Key in the name of the routine. Try to keep it short (< 30 characters)
  5. Tap on Save.

Editing routines

You can, at any time, edit what a specific routine is called. Note that this change affects current and previous reporting against the routine. That is, if you have a routine that is named “jogging” and decide to rename it to “running,” it will be reflected in all your previous assignments for “jogging” as well.

How to edit a routine?

(De/re)activating routines

The routines that we are keeping ourselves busy with change over time.

You can always deactivate the routines that are no longer used in your daily life. De-activation is similar to deletion - however, we continue to show the routines previously created as part of your prior routine analysis and reporting. The routines that you de-activate can always be re-activated later.

How to de-activate a routine?

  1. From the last tab, go to manage routines.
